Scott spent the first 16 years of his career in a downtown law firm and ultimately became a partner focused on commercial transactions of all types across multiple industries.   In 2015, Scott joined one of his clients as its COO and General Counsel and in that role operated a private equity firm that focused on making investments in small businesses that were posed for dramatic growth. While Scott enjoyed the private equity world, his true passion is assisting entrepreneurs and small to medium size businesses grow and exit their businesses.

 

Since joining Zappia and LeVahn, Scott has focused on business: corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, start-up and emerging business, and general business issues and transactions.

 

Scott also has significant experience negotiating and completing complex business transactions of all types across numerous industries.

 

Scott further assists several of his clients with their day to day and strategic legal needs by acting as their fractional general counsel.
